Connect a HiBob service user, pull company calendar signals on demand or on a daily schedule, apply matching blackouts to a Festivo holiday calendar, and publish so public ICS and widgets update. Optional proxy for employee time-off requests where your Bob permissions allow it.

Read path: search company calendar events (public holidays, closures, and related types Festivo treats as blackout signals) with optional site and company-calendar filters.
Apply path: idempotent [HiBob:auto] blackout rows on a chosen Festivo holiday calendar, respecting manual exceptions on the same dates.
Publish path: optional automatic publish after apply so versioned snapshots pick up changes for ICS and embeds (with a manual fallback if publish validation fails).
Operations: scheduled refresh for teams with saved credentials, outbound request pacing, and portal copy that explains republish semantics when you need it.

Does Festivo write back to HiBob’s company holiday calendar?

HiBob's public API is built around reading company calendar events and creating employee time-off requests. Festivo supports that write path where your policies and permissions allow it. Company-wide holidays should continue to be managed in HiBob unless a supported create API is available from the vendor.
